Good Monday Morning

As we start another beautiful sunny summers morning, remember that the first simple rule in life is; if you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it!

We had a really busy but great week last week at the Tattersalls July Sale. We spent a lot of time with Jamie Lloyd, Jonathan and Debbie Sarkar and the rest of the team doing our homework after our shortlist was put together and I am so happy to report that we managed to buy the horse we really wanted. It was tough going out there with lots of international money about and we couldn’t purchase anything else we wanted for syndication but we are looking at 1 at tomorrows Tattersalls Ascot Sale and will also be back at the sales next month. We were also kindly sent another horse by his owner, so it’s starting to slowly build up now which is great for the whole team and much appreciated by us all. We have space and continue to grow, so join us.

Our soldier Mr Fayez is in to run on Tuesday at Chelmsford evening with apprentice Abbie Pierce riding him. She has done a lot of work coming to ride him out on Sundays, and is happy with him. We are trying a mile, it’s unknown territory, but if he settles it may be his trip he has been looking for. If he doesn’t, we can always come back to 5,6,7F as he has run well over all those distances. The 7 pound claim off his back will also help.

I’ve got to mention Rob Hornby in todays blog, a little like Flyingez, what a tough solider himself! He was taken off Westover in the Irish Derby which went and won. This could’ve and would’ve got most young men or woman down, but he got back up and a week later rides a Gr1 double. Respect!

While talking about jockeys, Ryan Moore rode in the USA at Belmont in the Derby on Saturday night around 10pm our time and ran third, only to be riding a treble in France at 2pm on Sunday including a Gr1 winner. Class!

In stable news, we only have 2 two year olds and they are both looking like they will be ready to run in the next few weeks. That’s exciting news as we have nursed them along slowly and they are really enjoying the summer. As soon as we get some rain, they will gallop and hopefully be ready to step out.

As always, we are building up brick by brick or horses by horse in the UK and your support is needed and appreciated. We have space for horses and would love to welcome you to our team.

My closing thought for the week is: once you become fearless, life becomes limitless..

Until next week, stay updated daily following our social media.
